CALIFORNIA NATIVE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
FOR THE 2020 SCA ANNUAL MEETING
Thursday, March 12—Sunday, March 15, 2020 | Riverside Convention Center
Application Deadline: Wednesday, January 15, 2020
The SCA – NAPC is pleased to announce Sponsorships offered to California Natives interested in attending the
SCA Annual Meeting. The intent of the SCA – NAPC Sponsorships is to encourage and support California Native
cultural resource preservationists in developing relationships, awareness and greater understanding between the
California Native Community and the CRM profession, as represented by SCA. The Annual SCA Conference is
the most effective place for this interaction to occur, as the Conference is where most of the California CRM
professionals come together.

Religion and Ecology Summit

Kanyon Sayers-Roods, Gregg Castro, and many others will share perspective of Indigenous Lifeways, Cosmologies, and Ecology at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco on Friday, March 20, 2020
-This conference, which will consider the continuing consequences of colonialism in California, and the ongoing Native and Indigenous efforts to restore and steward the lands of the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, is the fifth annual conference in our successful, consistently sold-out Religion & Ecology Summit series. As in past Religion & Ecology Summits, we anticipate presentations from both scholars and activists.

Indigenous@SOCAP

For 3 Years, SOCAP has had a #LandAcknowledgment in Yelamu – Ramaytush Ohlone Territory. Kanyon CoyoteWoman Sayers-Roods has opened up this space as a reminder that we are on Occupied Native Land – and why it is important to #HonorNativeLand
Working with Seeding Sovereignty and Yvette Padilla we are hosting the Indigenous Lounge and strengthening Indigenous@SOCAP
