The General Assembly will include: 

A special presentation about the Just Transition framework from Movement Generation

Network updates about our membership platform, bottoms-up leadership and equity work, from new discussion groups to our upcoming racial justice workshops;

Breakout sessions for working groups, to invite participation; working groups currently include Indigenous solidarity, fundraising, conflict resolution, governance, communications and storytelling and resilience hubs

About the NorCal Resilience Network: The mission of the NorCal Resilience Network is to catalyze a Just Transition to an equitable and regenerative region by supporting and activating community-based and ecological solutions in Northern California. Our regional network increases capacity for grassroots projects and programs, helps to build out model sites for permaculture and  resilience; and builds solidarity across divides of race, class, sector and region with organizations, businesses and leaders committed to growing thriving, resilient communities through collaboration and collective impact. 

About the Circle of Collaborators: The Circle of Collaborators is the membership body composed of community-based organizations and sites (Resilience Hubs) who are working on community-based and nature-inspired solutions. Our vision is to provide opportunities for collective impact, strengthen collaborations and build connections across sectors and communities or a more resilient and just world. 

Criteria

Based in and working in Northern California 

Committed to the permaculture ethics of Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share

Directly involved in grassroots and community-based solutions to climate change and social inequity

Interest in promoting your organization’s offers and needs to the larger community

Commitment to the Network’s Guiding Principles while collaborating with the Network’s Circle of Collaborators.
